Front tyre lasting less than rear?

I would have thought normally a front lasts longer than a rear, but the fron seems to be worn down sooner. Both were changed with a month, front is probably near to limit, rear seems to have quite a bit left.

Is there anything that could be causing this? Just concerned that it could indicate antother underlying fault.

Thanks.

Do you ride the front hard? aggresive counter steer, heavy front braking maybe.

Depends on the tyre. The BT021 & BT023 bridgstone's are well know for doing that.

My fronts last twice as long as the rear, and always have on every bike Ive owned.I suppose its mostly down to riding style assuming you have the same tyres front and back.Do you habitually push the front into corners,do lots of heavy braking or do lots of trackdays?

Yep, BT021's. That sheds some light then, as i wouldn't say i'm a particulary aggressive rider. 90% commuting.

Cheers

My front and rear BT021 went at the same time... They are a **** tyre too.

Mystery over... Buy another brand problem solved.

Roadsmarts are spot on, got more than enough grip in the dry and wet.
A couple of quid cheaper than the bridgestones too.
