forks still using all travel
 
04 sv 650
ohlins 9.5 springs
emulaters
maxxion rods
15 w oil
preload only 2 rings showing

bike still uses all travel on the brakes cable ties round legs are hitting the underneath of bottom yoke

i am about 14 stone in all my kit

any one got any advice on how to stop this

have you setup/checked the riders sag? but if travel is that far I'd suggest the spacers are to short, so it's worth checking that to.

Using all the travel is a good thing - you don't want to make it so stiff that it only uses a small part of the travel. Most likely it's only getting to the end of the travel if you hit a bump under under hard braking, mine is exactly the same (0.95 springs+emulators).

Not when the cable ties are bottoming on the yoke its not.

Are the forks set at the standard position in the yokes or have you dropped the yokes further down?

...one other thought... are the springs the same length as those they replaced? You may need to make some longer spacers. Have you set the front preload up properly using a tape measure rather than just number of rings showing on the adjuster?
