Hi,

how hard is to do a valve service? I have a triple, the tools and will get a haynes manual.

Any tips?

It's not too bad, just need to be methodical and check you really have undone/removed everything!
Tank off, then airbox, then tbs, coils and plugs take the crank cover off so you can turn the crank over and bobs you uncle.

That is if none need changing, even then just whip the cam tensioner out then the ladder and cams. The crank has a spot to line up at tdc and make sure the cams are put back correct. The tensioner is a bit of a pain to reset but you just need to put it on a clean surface and use your palm to compress it and then some fingernails to get the locking clip in place. Once all back in turn the engine over the correct way and the tensioner should pop out, remember the correct way is clockwise as you are looking at the end of the crank cover.
