Which chain type?

What type is the best type to get? I am a fair weather rider, avoid the wet riding if i can, and my bike has a scottoiler fitted. I'm after a good decent make that will last a long time and will be practically maintenance free.
X-ring, O-ring, HD and Standard options.

tsubaki is the one to go for. Although ive not compared apples with apples the tsubaki chains ive had have appeared to be a lot smoother in operation than ek and did chains ive used in the past.

however there a bit more expensive and with a scottoiler and/or summer use i would happily use either of the above. bearing in mind the different grades btw. i wold go for an alpha tssubaki, vmx type did or srs ek all are not too bad on price.

O ring, X ring is not worth price premium. How many miles do you want? Do you have a scottoiler or are you likely to neglect it?
