Well I hadn't seen it, so thanks specialone. And, having seen it, holy f&ck! And having looked at the street view, no excuse for changing lane - you have to have ignored all the arrows pointing the other way around the whole slip road.

Id say the junction should be more clearly marked. However, surely seeing on coming traffic would have been all the confirmation needed to realise you were going the wrong way! So why did she carry on pfft.

Towards the end of September, I was on the way to pick up some mopeds for my charity scooter run, when I saw an old couple turning left off the M-way onto a slip-road that was joining the M-way. Couldn't believe my eyes, as they had to literally double back on themselves to get down it and there's no way on this earth that you could have mistook it for an exit.

You would have thought that the oncoming lorry on the slip road was enough indication that they were on the wrong side. Quick reactions from that lorry driver probably saved that dopey drivers life.
