Loss of power at high RPM.
 

hello , im david and i am new et this forum :)
i have my SV 650 S for a year next month , and i love it !

i have a problam with my bike , in evry gear et any speed when i get to 9200 RPM i am loseing throttle and cant accelerate for a somthing like 2 sec , and then i get my throttle back ,
i was thinking that it might be a problam with the fule "map "
my bike is working er 20 k"m for 1 liter of gas , and it is too high , how can i fix it? .. or what can the problam be if i am wrong ...

Have tried changing gear a bit sooner?Sounds to me like you are hitting the rev limiter.There is nothing to be gained from revving it out on a SV as the engine delivers peak torque and power lower down the rev range than 9000.

my rev limiter comes on at 11,700 RPM and 2500RPM its alot! maybe its the TPS? or sommat with the spark plugs? please help David! :)

2009... tell me what you think it is and we will try to fix it... the engine feels like cut off at 9200RPM like spark or fuel problem :/ any gear at full or 3/4 throttle

The fuel map would never change or 'go wrong'
start with the basics I.E plugs, TPS calibration, and try and pull some fault codes. and see if the air filter is black. there might be a coolant or air temp sensor thats gone faulty which could cause the poor fuel consumption.

If you get no where with that. hook up a strobe light to the plugs and tape it to the bars. go for a run and see if the sparks breaking down when its holding back. Might be a duff coil or crank pick up.

its not a complicated F.I system and there are only 2 cylinders, so you should narrow it down fairly quick
