Recomend me flush mount indicators.

i keep breaking my indicators off and its getting boring gluing them back on all the time so i need some flush mount indicators for my cbr600rr

the catch is i dont want to buy any additional equipment like resistors or rectifiers as i went through the problems of led indicators on my sv and its just one big headache

They'd work, you only need resistors etc. if you have LED indi's and if you replace the flasher unit it's not a nightmare* worth in my opinion

*providing your brand new flasher unit isn't a dud and you panic.

do you recon they are bulbs? and doesnt need resistors? as the resistors get hot and often break at the join over time

LED's don't need resistors - resistors are a shortcut which make the bike's original flasher unit think bulbs are in the indicators when infact someone's fitted LEDs*. If you use LED indicators and an LED flasher unit there's no issue.

And yes they'll be bulbs - they look suitably old fashioned and don't say LED anywhere.

*probably not fully technically correct but near enough

+1. used a flasher fix relay and it's a 5 min job. fit & forget, no headaches.
Resistors also get hot so another reason not to bother with them when there's such an easy alternative.

How would one go about acquiring such a flasher fix relay?

a quick google

something like that should do it http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-PIN-LED-...ht_1420wt_1110 I'm sure it's a 2 pin you need. Motrax do one but they're scum and twice the price so don't buy it , mine was about £5 from local bike shop.

There's loads of threads on this with instructions and probably links too, do a search on the forum

Wouldn't it be easier to work out how you keep breaking them? And then stop doing it?

runs away........
