Frequently check your oil level kids!

Noticed quite alot of oil on the underside of my bike & no oil in the window (breather hose disconnected from airbox - which has since been reconnected).

Instead of topping up it was due an oil change, so did an oil and filter change and got all of 1700ml out! :(

I'm not entirely sure how the bike was still running!

Thought full was only 2300ml, 600ml short isnt too bad. You must have noticed quite early :) congrats.

Full is 2700 (incl oil filter) or 2500 without filter change.

Ah fair enough so you were a good litre short. Doesn't take long to come out though once you have a substantial leak.
