Chain needs constant adjustment.
Hi Guys
I noticed the other day that my chain was very loose, so adjusted it straight away. A couple of days later the chain was very loose again. Is the chain knackered or could it be something more sinister? Bike is a curvy S. Many thanks Mitch |
Re: Chain problem
Time for a new chain by the sounds of it. Check your sprockets while your at it. If your going to do one more than likely to do the lot.

Re: Chain needs constant adjustment.
Make sure the chain is oiled as well if you oil the chain regularly you shouldn't have to adjust it that much

Thanks for all your help.
Wheel is always torqued up and the bike has a scott oiler fitted. |
Re: Chain needs constant adjustment.
Surely, everybody is running sealed lube chains, which generally won't get longer until the internal grease dies or goes away. When that internal grease does die or go away, your chain will start to lengthen. Get ready for a new chain when this happens.
