LED Strip lights

Was looking on ebay and saw these,
eBay item number:190857214668

I wonder, can I just run the wires straight to either the battery direct or through my forum electrical gizmo thingy ?
It says that its got just two wires a + and - so could it be that easy?

Yes . That easy. Though you will have to extend the wires and allow for full extension of the forks.
You will want them to turn off, so connect them to a switched +ve.

These should consume about 3.6W each so wiring them both into one of the Gizmo's outputs looks ideal.

they are very easy to fit, when i did mine its simply a case of i ran the negative wire to the battery and the positive wire to a switch with another wire running from the switch to the positive terminal on the battery, took 30 mins.

That 3m tape isn't the best stuff, although it is pretty decent. Back it up with some cable ties.

Also that heatshrink around the connectors can be crap with copper exposed under it, cut it off, blather in hot melt glue/silicon and re heat shrink. If you want them to last (not for the price, just for the fact I really, really can't be bothered doing stuff twice)

£13 is a lot of money for them, there are lots cheaper available.

Re: LED Strip lights

Why don't you just have them with the sidelights?

Don't forget to fit a fuse.
