B*st*rd punctures

You go for ages without any problems then two come at once :mad:

On Friday, had to go and sort out a blown tyre on my wife's car, and then putting the bike away this morning after a good spin around the Roaches and the Cat & Fiddle, noticed something shiny in the back tyre: the shank of a nail, and it's blowing spit-bubbles at me :smt019

On the brightside, it didn't stop the ride; also, the rear wheel spindle was well greased last time it was removed, so one tap and it pulled out with no hassle. So it'll be sorted for next weekend :)

Re: B*st*rd punctures

I had a puncture at the start of a full day of riding around the peak district. Luckily I was only a couple of miles from my ride partner's house and he had a repair kit.
the rear tyre was at 7psi for a few miles... It was not fun at all
