K3-k5 GSXR shock
 

Gsxr1000 shock, fitted to my bike when I bought it but removed as I'm 'big boned' and got a stiffer shock.

Fits the pointy SV with some small modification to the battery box which is easy enough to do.

Works perfectly, all the adjusters are free moving. It has preload, compression and rebound

Looking at the google docs spreadsheet of SV compatible shocks i believe the spring is 8.1kg/mm and the standard spring is 7.7 so it's a bit stiffer than standard.

Crucially it gives you better control over compression and rebound rather than just preload.

I'm 15 stone and you can see from the pictures I had it wound down quite far in order to get a decent sag setting hence why I swapped it out, but based on this it would be suitable for a range of weights and I would reckon it's sweet spot would be between 11 and 14 stone.
