Should I?

Considering the weather aspect.

And the fact that the round trip is about 240 miles to work and back

Should I risk it for a biscuit?

Nagai (me arl mucka) reckons nah, and that I should get more mileage on the clock first (Blue Cow - now done all of 78 miles  )

But she's just sitting there, I know I need to do it at some point - should I leave it until I get some more miles on the clock?

Should I wait until the weather picks up?

Should I do a dummy run one day? see what it's all about?

The journey itslef is the majority of the M4

When you are running in, it is generally reckoned that you should go up and down the gears and the rev range (upto 6k rpm). Riding along the motorway is going to be a one gear / same revs affair and is probably not the best way to run it in.

Anyway, with 78 miles on the clock, I reckon in another 22 miles you will be able to start ragging the **** off it anyway! IMO

Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman??

Round the world bike ride???

Seriously, its more fun taking the country roads anyway. Plus you can add even more miles whilst varying the gear.
