airblade double bubble
Any one got one
Couple of questions How do they wear - are they prone to scratching easily Are they rigid - do they have a strenghened bit at the back of the screen ?? like the originals ?? @ 37 quid off ebay without going else where its not bad money but im an avid beleiver of " if somthing to good to be true it probably is " so are they any good ???? thanx by the way |
I got one for a similar price and I'm v. happy. One of the least pronounced "bubbles" I've seen (more noticeable once it's on the bike).
Good fit and looks well good though :D |

I had an airblade on my 650.
Like a few others, it didn't line up too well when fitting it, but once it was on there it looked good. No issues with the finish (had it on for about 2 years I think). At £37 it is worth taking a chance! |
No probs with mine apart from initial fitting being a little fiddly
|
I had one crack when fitting it in extreme cold. Warmed the next one up and had no problems. Doesn't have the ridge that the original does but seems to do the job & finish has lasted no problem (irridium one).

Nice screens but the inner fairing needs cutting down on the screw holes near the top or you get a gap. If you look in the bodywork section there arepicture showing the gap I'm talking bout. |
got one on an 04, no probs you need to trim back the top screw in points on the inner fairing(i used a stanley knife) or there will be a small gap at the top between the inner and outer fairings, but apart from that its a good fit, better than the original for lifting the wind blast but not as good as the screens with a bigger bubble, although ok at the speeds the sv does.
looks noce too at £37 you cant go wrong i piad £54 for one in dec/04 direct from powerbronze. |
k chaps thanx and noted
