Cagiva Raptor thou

Am tinkering with the idea of getting one. What are peoples comments about them :?:

If I were to get one, it would be a 2001/2002 model.

Didn't Amanda M say she had one in a recent thread?

I'd like one... But with your history, spares availability might be an issue ;)

I like them, but think an 03 SV1000n would be a more sensible bet (and they're certainly around at very sensible prices).

I have thought about this too. I have just decided to put my fingers in my ears and sing "la la la, can't hear you"

I really did think about the SV thou, but truth is, I just don't like the frame. When your buying a naked bike you really do have to like the frame seeing as it's on show so much.

Well engine spares shouldn't be a problem as its a tl engine, its just crash damage that would make it a nightmare to get bits for. I know some one who had a raptor a he loved it, with the twin art cans it sounded like thunder. It was the V-Raptor too, which to be honest is a bit extreme, looked mental with flat bars though.

V-Raptor though.

Yep its AmandaM that has one.

I nearly had the chance of being run over by one of them last year.
Just think TL  for thoes front wheel off ground moments even when you did not want it realy.

northwind 18-05-06 09:25 PM

 What were they thinking of with the v-raptor? The naked is gorgeous as it is.

Those cans are nice, but the pipework's awful. The standard design's so neat, it's a shame to ruin it.
