Hazards won't turn off/Meta Alarm
 

Went to start the bike up this morning - de-activated the Meta 357T alarm and went to start it which it did after a couple of attempts but then the Hazard lights started flashing and wouldn't turn off.
Tried switching engine off, activating, de-activating alarm, pressing hazards button on/off - all to no avail.
Had to leave it in garage with Hazards blazing so will probably have a flat battery when I get home!
Anyone had similar problems or clues as to the cause?
Didn't have time this morning to get the seat off and check connections etc, so hoping it's just a loose cable or something?!

i had the same problem over christmas. for the life of me i cant remember what i did to stop it.

i'm think it was a combination of switching the alarm off, putting keys in ignition cancelling the indicators, re-arming the alarm again...something like that. sorry to be vague, but i know it took a bit of trial and error. its not happened to me before or sice.

Thanks for that - good to know that at least I'm not the only one to have the problem! I will try all the things you mentioned when I get home.
Bit of a bad time for it to happen as it's booked in for it's MOT on Sat!

I got one of them. If all else fails, disconnect the battery overnight, this will reset the alarm to factory settings and problem should go away.

Never had a problem with the alarm, but the above should work.
