Re: Crash helmet recommendations.
Oval head here too. LS2 appear to make oval lids, some more oval than others. I bought the LS2 Arrow carbon from a local shop because it felt right. Later I read reviewers reckoned its best for... |

Re: Test ride challenge
Nice review Yokohama. I went for a test ride on the XSR900 back in September. Hook, line and sinker springs to mind. Ergonomics are spot on for me. Traded my SV the following week, and I had six... |

Re: The random rideout pictures thread
I was thinking that today too. Had to retreat and change gloves and jacket, even though it was sunny and the temperature claimed to be the similar to Saturday. I didn't stop for pics, here's one from... |

Re: The All new Reeder Megathread

Re: SV Rally Concept
I've had my naked SV for a while now and have been looking at what's out there. Decided I like so much of what the SV does well that I was going to go for a new style SV. We don't have a Suzuki... |

Re: The Thin End . . .
Our wee village has been done recently, and so have the surrounding villages. It's easy to forget, especially if you stop at a shop and start off again. I saw it being enforced on a Sunday morning.... |

Re: Coolant leak?
Looks like you are right about that G48 stuff having silicates. Acting on recommendations on here, I used halford's OAT, the pink stuff, it's silicate free. I reckon its easier to see the level in... |

Re: Cheap chain lube
I bought some last year, but haven't used it. I thought it looked messy compared to the usual brand I use. |

Re: OMO, back EMF brushed dc motor speed control
Never designed one, just bought and used industrial versions. They had AC supplies so used Thyristor bridges, and used tacho-feedback for best speed control. Used some small DC supplied ones that... |

Re: Cheap"Cyclone" Alarm fitting/Review
I wonder if the alarm has a battery inside, so the drain current looks high just now, but might drop once the battery is charged. |

Re: Best screen for the naked sv 650
Did you see these? Some are a bit taller and wider than mine. It's probably and the short end of the limit of being useful. http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Screens_for_Naked_Bikes.html |
