I also think there is nothing wrong with making sure they turn up and then go away elsewhere to study. By not turning up who is to say she is not just going to stay in bed.

IF you read the OP it clearly says the facilities aren't up to scratch for the work she needs to do.
As for her maybe staying in bed what difference does that make if she is getting good grades by studying the way she has been?
