Ok so taken mine off, there was a leak and just want your opinion on whether it is distorted or not, I know it clearly has a slight curve in it but don't want to go and order the replacement at £70 to find it exactly the same!

In my experience, once they are warped it is only a matter of time before they start leaking again. I put a new o-ring gasket in mine and used blue hylomar gasket sealant. Also torqued to correct torque and it started leaking again a couple of weeks later.

I personally would continue to use it, the one on my 800 is worse. Tighten the bolts to 10Nm, no more, and use silicone sealent.

Nothing. The OEM Suzuki O ring is a ****er to fit properly in to the groove. Get some hylomar gasket sealant and put a good dollop in the groove, then "patiently" try and stick the O ring into the groove.

I had the same problem, freezer didn't work so I cut it, super glued it back together then put some bathroom silicone sealant around (under and over), just a bit, stuck it back on and it hasn't leaked since
