R&G's and fairings - SV650.org

Hi all

if you have a sv with lower fairings how do R&G's fit? shellywoozle has R&G's on zuky at the moment but is soon to be putting lower fairings on or should i say i'm fitting the fairings lol, so will her existing crashbungs fit or will she need new'uns?

The ones for "faired" are significantly different. They are 2 large "U" shaped brackets.

Just gone through this over this weekend. None of the parts from an unfaired SV with R&G bungs will fit - every bolt is different, the brackets are significantly different and even the bungs are different.

The crash bungs actually replace the bent looking brackets that are in the fairing fitting kit. They fit superbly - a bit pricely but well worth it in my opinion. Have a look at the R&G web site - some good photos and full fitting instructions.

As said before, the non-faired crash bungs wont fit. Big bracket has to be fitted which throws the bungs off centre from where they go on non-faired.
