Route 66 uses the external gps and nhgps uses the internal one. Start nhgps (www.nhgps.com) first, get a fix and you are off. You do not need any maps loaded, just the speed camera database (www.think3g.net) Then start Route 66 and navigate your route. Route 66 will give voice and visual route directions whilst nhgps gives verbal speed camera warnings. Pretty clever eh!
