Default (IMAGE HEAVY) thermal pictures

So me and a friend went out for a ride. when we got back he thought he show me his new gismo which reads surface temptures. (used generally for circuit boards but found its more of a toy to us.

so we took images of the temperatures of the bikes after a ride. although the bikes were left for a while to cool down its pretty cool, despite the low res of the pictures.

yeah he said it would cost about £1500. and the higher definition version is £3000. so i was careful with it. once we had goten bored of the bike we turn it on each other.

its good for seeing if bearing's need changing as if the temperature of the centre of the wheel was high needs changing

Direct heat transfer from the engine and exhaust probably.

Its a scale issue, red on swingarm means 33C, whereas the others are higher.

They always give a relative scale to the hottest and coldest observed within the shot.

another issue is it doesn't record heat from metals well if you haven't noticed either my disc's are cold yet they had been used alot, the thermal thingy has issues shows tempertures of some materials.

interestly i also found i have a cold index finger and little finger compared to the two between them when riding.
