Re: Here we go again....
Knowing I have bikes in the garage helps me get through winter. There'll be a few dry spells in winter and we can have drag race up the A3. yeeehah!

Re: Here we go again....
This, although without the racing bit. There are always a few "golden days" for us non-winter riders to stretch the wheels a bit and you can't do that if you've sold your bike. Of course knowing my luck the next such day for me will be next Saturday when I have to spend the day in the car and lugging boxes as I retrieve the munchkin from uni...

Re: Here we go again....
Just ride on the winter.
Ok the washing is a pain, if you do it. But, the feeling of rolling on the power on the motorway and the realising that you can spin up the rear at 70mph is something different. Only do it once each year, then remember to be more careful! |

Re: Here we go again....
I always used to ride all thorugh the year. Just for fun. However, these days I just don't find the time to get out regardless of the weather. Then if I do find I don't have the time I need to pump up tyres, charge batteries etc so don't progress as far as actually getting the bike out
Just need to get myself a bit more organised.
