I found one in my car tyre today ..... bad nails.
You can get it plugged but can't help with where !!

I had a nail in my new tyre, i tryed getting it plugged but no one would do it for me, very unsafe apparently to plug bike tyres, likerly to have a tyre blow out. Better be safe than sorry

You can plug a bike tyre if the puncture is in the centre of the tread.
Whilst i wouldn't say that it would be as safe as an undamaged tyre, they seem to hold up fine. |

Yup most places say certain death, but I had one in for 4k of further abuse and I'm still here.

Yeah pretty much, there are liability issues though. When I went to the local one to get mine plugged he said he only did it because I took him the loose tyre, wouldn't have touched it if it was still on the bike.

The British Standard for tyre repair says that ZR rated tyres should not be repair. Of course they can....
