Default Unhappy clutch

Very unhappy, in fact. I was just going round Hammersmith Broadway and halfway through a change from 1st to 2nd and there was a bad noise and I lost power. Having pushed the bike back to work I decided to investigate. I discovered that my chain had broken the clutch pushrod and come off the sprockets. So... the AA are going to relay me home, but how much effort is it going to be to get this fixed? Or, more to the point, how much will it cost me to get someone else to do it?

Can the pushrod be replaced easily? Or will it be lots of expensive parts?

I've got nothing better to do until the AA turn up, so I'll go and keep poking around.

Depends what else it's broken.

What have you (not) been doing to the chain!

Looks like it's just that which is broken. The chain is nearly worn out, I've recently been getting around to planning to get it and the sprockets done. Unfortunately with the chain, on two consecutive days I said to myself "Ooh, that needs adjusting" as I set off and then completely forgotten by the time I get home

Lesson learned! Going to try and replace the pushrod myself and then do the chain and sprockets before I ride it again. Until then, I'm driving into work

Just in case it helps anyone, the repairs for this were pretty cheap. Rod replaced, chain and sprockets replaced, all for £137.92 inc labour.
