Urgent - Whats it worth? RHS spill 2007 K6 write off

Not sure what to do, got to make a decision on whether to buy this and sell, buy it and break, repair, or just cut and run...insurance have given me a buy back value and its more than i expected. I need to establish whether there will be anything in it for me to buy back.

2007 K6 with light RHS damage...you can see on these photos. Completely standard bike.

Left side is absolutely mint! (haha!)

Brand new Bridgestone BT021 on the rear has done less than 100 miles.

I have already repaired the cracks in the RHS plastics (lower fairing upper, rear cowl) they are very solid and im 100% certain they could be spayed up and you would never know. List of other damage, brake lever, grip and bar end, RHS mirror all scuffed, brake pedal broken (have a replacement), Indicator broken, exhaust lug on back of frame cracked at top, exhaust damaged (have a full replacement), Radiator slight dent, still working fine, the bike has been ridden with no issue since the crash.

Opinions needed please, i need to answer insurance by midday tomorrow!!!

The problem is that the insurance company have looked at the cost of replacing all the big bits, (rear subframe, exhaust and radiator, plus plastics) and it just makes it ridiculous to fix.

I have to say I'd be tempted to keep it, weld the subframe lug, fit a second hand silencer (must be loads of cheap original ones about) and leave the radiator alone if it's not leaking. The rest are just cheap bits to slowly fix up.

Problem is the insurance company know this which is why they have set the buy back price so high. What's the difference between the payout figure and the buyback, ie: if you keep the bike how much are they going to give you?

from the picy it looks like all thats wrong is the lower fairing?

if the bike was worth £3000ish before the crash, why have they written it off?.... there must be more wrong with it.

+1 ther looks nothing wrong with it in the pics apart from the we scuff on the lower the mirror and peg etc...looks all basically intact and ther useally 1st 2 go in a spill!

All the insurance company have done is list all the parts that would need to be replaced and price them...that is a genuine list above, but there are a couple of other things you would simply live with if you were to buy back - the front wheel has the slightest scuff and the lower RHS fork the same (the insurance company cant of course...they would have to replace)

I priced up the list above myself with OEM prices and it adds up to £2400 without the repair to the exhuast lug. Yes, i was shocked too, but the insurance will only price up OEM parts. Add to that labour to fix and its actually easy to see how they wrote it off.

with a bike valued at £3500 according to insurance company. Rather not say the buy back value they have offered me ...i was just after some opinions on what its worth so i can make an infomred decision...

its the labour that writes the bike off, buy it back for 500-800 ish fix her up with ebay bits and your quids in.

the fairings are easy to fix, take them off and chuck them away! a pointy looks better without them anyway.
