How Much Should I Pay For New Sport?

I've decided to bite the bullet and buy a new SV650 Sport (well as soon i have found one left in the grey colour anywhere) and wondered if anyone has recently bought one on a good deal.

So far contacted several dealers - had full list quoted at main dealer in chesterfield - this dealer was not prepared to discount at all (except for the standard £400.00 manufacturer cash back deal so it would be £4300.00 on the road i am paying).

At the other extreme been quoted £3900.00 on the road with the dealer handling the cash back on my behalf. (ie: dealer charging £4300 less cashback so i am paying £3900). Only problem colour of bike is wrong being black not grey!

What should i be paying at the mo for one with no p/ex?

id say 3999 is a good price, have you seen the one in the for sale section for 3500.

Think the one in the for sale section is a black one. Grey seems to be hard to come by, yet i see loads of them on autotrader, just none near me!

dealers have some good deals on new bikes at the mo........... you can get over £2000 worth of toys on a new gixxer, might be worth hagerling for some extras too

It's that time of year... I think the £3900 is a good price but i am also struggling to find a dealer who has a sport (well a grey one) in stock at the moment. Suzuki have put a hold on accepting any new dealer orders as they have none left for this period - so i am keen to get one while i can.

whereabouts are you......... and how far are you willing to travel?

i got a grey one recently and paid 3999, but got alot of extras for not much more, think i paid 4300 or something and got, R&G tail tidy and crash bungs, scotoiler, hugger, fenda extenda,

3900 will be a good price, i got mine about 2 months ago and i think places are struggling more now

so you paid £400 for the R&G tail tidy and crash bungs, scotoiler, hugger and fenda extenda ? which adds up to £250ish........

if you are willing to travel to cupar in scotland they will do you a thunder grey K8 58 reg for £3995 on the road and a full tank of petrol, good finance options aswel.

lol, maybe, well no i paid 3999 so would have been 300 for it all fitted, cant remember the exact numbers but it worked out as a good deal at the time
