can you out the fairings (pointy) onto a naked pointy?

Out the fairing? if you mean swap them then yes, but its alot of work I know on the curvy as even the front loom is different. But you need a subframe, lights, screen, mirrors, the fairing of course and a number of other bits that some pointy owners will be sure to point out. I think the clocks are the same, which makes it a touch easier then the original shape.

Yep, the frame etc is the same but the main difference is in the handlebars, front lighting etc. Its a fair amount of work to convert to a road faired bike, somewhat easier if its to race only.
