120/60 or 120/70 front tyre?????? imconfused.com
guys help me
ive bought a set of avon viper supersport tyres and the front one that has been sent is a 120/70 is this right when the back is a 160/60 ???? advice please before saturday as im getting them fitted and dont want to if its wrong !!!! thanks mike

The SV is supposed to have the 120/60. I think the 70 is just taller in the middle and had more sloped sides. Might make steering quicker but it might be better to just stick to what its meant to have... *shrugs*

hi mate
info for you, the 60 or 70 is how high the side wall is in relation to the width, 60 is 60% of 120 and 70 is 70% of 120. the higher the side wall gives more contact area while cranked over, ideal for the track and a easier tyre to get hold of |
