Well I pulled the trigger and replaced my sv650. Actually sold the sv back in late fall to pay off my car, then I wanted to get back into motorcycling. Missed my old sv, but wanted something a bit different...then this thing fell into my lap...

yeah, it was a pretty big mistake. all my buddies that had been riding for years told me "it's just like a 500 or 600 if you twist the throttle less". i listened to them, but wised up after i did a 540 degree spin and tossed myself into a ditch...
months later i found out they all learned to ride on dirt with little 80 or 125cc bikes... ![]() Quote:
![]() and yes my zx10 supposedly had 125bhp when new...a bit much for a new rider who had only ridden a 50cc moped for one summer when he was 12. yep, we have no restriction... we regularly hear about new riders buying the latest and greatest 600 or 1000 and then dumping it when leaving the dealership. you only need to fill out a simple mindless written permit test in most states. makes me think sometimes that a graduated license like what you have would work out much better... |
