Default Left my choke on for most the way in:

I left my choke half on during the way to work. I didnt stop once the whole way in so I didnt notice until I pulled into work and the idle was over 2000.

I rode the motorway prob about 90most of the way in, then filtering at 40ish. Its a 16mile trip.

Whats likely to have happened?

I wouldnt have thought it would do much harm on a one off, ive heard you can get bore washing but i think thats if its done more regularly.

someone who knows more will probably confirm either way though

I honestly never thought about it, I left my house and then the next time I stopped it was to pull into my bay at work and I thought POO!!!! turned it off and gave it a good few revs to try force any unburnt stuff out the back.

lol, ive done that too after changin the oil filter last time.

Didnt ride off but from standing on the left of the bike, started it and rev'd the bollox off crouched down to have a look at the filter and to check the seal stood up to see etna erruptiing from the other side...

It won't have done any harm. Worst case it'd have fouled a plug.

But, why would you rev the bollox off the bike right after oil change?!
