I was offered £9k for my accident but settled for >£20k. Took another two years of negotiating and scans and medicals. Give it a wee while to see how much you recover, what lasting damage there is.
Or grab the cash and have a party!

Take it the £2k is just for the pain & suffering? Difficult to put a figure on without knowing how long you suffered in total. Have you made a full recovery? How long did it take to reach full recovery? Did you sufffer after the initial 8wks off & to what extent? Are there any continuing symptoms & when did the medic expect these to clear up?
From the basics youve said, £2k does appear a little low, but not too far out. Recon you may be able to push for £2,500-£3,000 at a max. PM me some more details re. your recovery & I'll let you have some more accurate info. Take it youve got a solicitor on board? Has he given you any advice? |
