Default Sickening

I went outside to the bin yesterday afternoon, to see a street full of police and crimescene tape across my front gate.

At 3pm, in broad daylight, this happened about 20 yards from my front door: http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standa...ing/article.do

WTF!

Someone who stabs an innocent, caring and defenseless 82 year old woman deserves no better themselves.

I hope she recovers from this but I can't imagine the outlook is rosy.

I;m with you on this point. For this type of pointless vilent attack on a vulnerable person i seriously do believe in an eye for an eye. Leave that that scumbag on the street bleeding and see how many come to his aid knowing why he's there.
Unreal, just unreal what kind of scum walk the streets.

I'm sad to admit that things like this don't suprise me anymore. There are a lot of sick, evil people out there. Alternatively the attacker could have been mentally ill and not receiving the treatment that they need. In either case we are failing as a society to tackle the real issues. Blame the faceless politicians who are only interested in lining there own pockets.

That's horrendous, so sad. Unfortunately sounds a lot like "Care in the Community" in action again.

I think it's safe to say avoid any area I frequent. Lots of police and an ambulance outside my shop, seems they've found a dead body in a flat a couple of doors down

Edit - but on the bright side, a woman drove past talking on her mobile, and one of the coppers ran up the street after her and she is now sat in the poice car "having a chat"

I wouldn't worry greatly about it if someone is found dead anywhere police are called its normal for that to happen. They may have died of natural casue for all we know, which is more than likely. However police get sent to find out what took place.

As for what happened in Harlesden something very simalar happened to an old lady who was going to Kenton libary, she was robbed but later died from her injuries it was on the news...Harlesden is a rough area for sure.

There is a few peope who out there are nothing less than nasty pieces of work, the vast majority of people are like us hard working good people.

Good evening all.

All too familiar sadly, I arrived at my girlfriends on tuesday evening at around 6.30 pm. There had been a stabbing incident in the park across the road, it must have beeen serious as they had half the estate cordoned off until around 3 am. It does make you wonder where the hell society is going, & more importantly what the powers that be propose to reduce this sort of thing.

Being a touch 'old school' I think that a rusty tin lid to the private parts would be a good start.

Cheers.
