Good afternoon all.

Tis indeed 32mm, & like as not will feel like it's been done up by King Kongs bigger brother!

Cheers.

Mine was actually loose when I replaced my Sprockets last week , I had to tighten up the new one to 145 nM , practically lifted the bike off the floor tightening it

I can also confirm it is 32mm for the front sprocket .

Dont forget to knock down the tab washer before you try to undo it.

or to knock it back up when you fit the new sprocket

No, the washer is behind the nut, so the raised tab, need to be knocked down before you can turn the nut, (or even fit a socket to full depth). Once the nut is torqued, you then need to raise a portion to lock the nut.

Now you put it that way it makes sense Mr W , I see it as knocking it down onto the Nut to lock it and knock it up into the flat position to unlock .............. that`s the internet for you
