Default Draggin' jeans, one-year-on review

My review of my draggin' jeans after a year of use. Thought I might put up some info for anyone who's considering buying them. Enjoy!

Very informative

I haven`t been riding for a couple of years, and tried on my leathers the other week, my diet must have worked a treat as their huge now !, so I need to buy new gear. As much as I like the look and safety of leathers I thought i`d get kevlar jeans and a leather jacket and have been looking at a few, including Draggin.

One thing I found on the web was that theres a lot of confusion on the Draggin size system, at least in ladies sizes. I like the slix jeans but at 150 quid a pair their not cheapo.

I've been wearing Draggin Camo's for four years now. Both pairs still going strong after a few thousand miles. One of which went to Bordeaux and back one summer....super comfy in the hot sun

Some folk have mixed reviews when coming off in them. I've had a mate come off his Buell at 60mph and the pocket ripped at the stitching, which is nowt really. Someone else came off at 30 and they ripped all over, which I can't understand.

Only thing I can recommend not to do in them, is use them constantly for kneeling in, when do mechanics stuff, as the denim wears out at the knees, but the kevlar stays untouched.

As for the size thing, both mine are the same size, supposedly, but one is longer in the leg, and slightly wider on the hip. They are made generously in the leg anyway so unlike leathers don't end up short and riding up your boots when on the bike.

I noticed a few folk selling size 8 Draggin jeans on eBay, they all said that the jeans were a generous fit, and that the 8 was more like a size 10. But, on Draggin`s Aus site, a Draggin size 8 IS a UK 10. So, does that mean I need a size 6 ? Oooer

There again, the Aus site gives different dimensions to the USA site so fked if I know, lol.

Speaking first hand i have been down the road in draggin jeans and they worked a treat infact they worked better than my leather jacket did, granted it could be the way i was sliding caused more damage to my arm but my legs got off scot free, thats why i replaced them straight away, definitely worth there weight in gold.

If you speak to the guys in the UK office they may be happy to do what they did for me, which was to send me a couple of pairs in differet sizes then they refunded the ones I returned. They even inported me some of the Aussie only ones which are low rise and long leg as I'm a bit of an odd shape.

My husband got knocked off recently. His Draggin combats ripped through the fabric but the kevlar held so he ended up with a grazed knee but nothing serious.

As with most jeans, different cuts fit different people better. I found the draggin jeans a little cosy around my thighs when I originally bought the same size as my regular jeans. They became super-tight when I added the hip armour. The shop I bought them from gave me a size up and they work a treat, I wear a belt to adjust tightness if necessary, avoiding following motorists catching a glimpse of my g-string

Glad you liked the review. Was my first. Hope to put up some post-use reviews of my sidi's boots and alpinestars jacket soon.
