My RX7 is simples......well easy to do. Whats the problem? Taking the visor off or putting it back on?

Mine also is a RX-7 but just seems to take ages. Getting the levers out and then getting them to pop the visor out enough for it to pull back, then puttin a visor in is a nightmare even after ive fished the levers out of the side bits. Never seems to go in equal and you have to be really really forcefull with it

Right, to remove, when you open the visory fully, that should reveal the levers enough to then pull. If it doesn't then I'm pretty sure they are getting stuck for some reason, in which case it may be time for a service from HG etc.

As for putting in, these visors are more robust than most people think. At the NEC, one of the sellers took a visor off a helmet and bent the whole thing backwards......this shows how flexible they are. I have found the more forceful, the easier.

That probably doesn't help, but don't be overly concerned about it breaking, just line up the two spaces on the end of the visor, push the visor in towards the pivots, then push till there is a clunk, then close the visor and it should click in place.

Man it is difficult to explain.....best thing to do.....got to a main Arai stockist, get it serviced and get them to pop the visor on and off a few times.

Anyways.......marginal derail.....good fitting guide!!!!

PS.....forgot to mention, when removing, just pull the levers forward.....then grab the visor and simply yank it upwards and it will release.

or go to BSB @ Thruxton, smile at the Arai man & ask him to fettle it for you as you watch?

My Rx7 visor is the easiest Arai visor I have ever changed.

My Astro-R is a complete scary biatch to change. (Even after 4yrs)

I also got the dremel drill into the visor of my missus' Chaser to ease the changing.

Top advice about seeing the Arai man at BSB rounds. Also found my local Hein Gericke very helpful in showing you how to make adjustments. Worth a try too.
