Default Naked headlight disassembly

Today I thought I'd have a stab at fitting some aftermarket indicators on my K3 pointy. Not wanting to cut the wires I decided to trace the the indicator wire at the front into the headlight. No problem I thought, I'll just take the headlight apart quickly, disconnect the indicators inside the headlight and pop it all back together. Hah.

As I unscrew the 2 main screws that hold the headlight to the mounting bracket I hear a 'plonk'. I realise that there must have been a nut on the inside of the headlight that's now rolling around in the plastic bowl. I sigh and continue to remove both bolts. I then try to work out how the heck I open the bowl up. I find 2 screws on the outside of the bowl at about 4 and 8 o'clock that after undoing give me access to the innards of the bowl, although not entirely. There's still something at the top of the light that's holding the plastic against the top of the rim, although I can't see what.

My problem now is I don't have the sufficient space to squeeze my fingers inside the back of the bowl to hold these stupid bloody nuts in place so I can attach the light back onto the mounting bracket. Nor can I work out how to entirely dissconnect the plastic bowl from the rim + glass. And now it's dark too

Remove those screws at 4 and 8 o clock, then bowl will pop out, it is just hooked under lip at top.

I removed those screws but the top didn't want to go, I didn't want to force it, felt like I might bend or break something up there. I'll give it another go next time I've got some free time in the daylight hours!

Pull the bottom of chrome part outwards. It is a hook so you need to pull the bottom out a little then you can move chrome part down a little to get it off the hook.
