Bullet Camera Out of Focus

Hi guys, I bought a proper motorbike bullet cam with DVR system from ebay, is identical to this one. When I first plugged the whole thing together for a quick check it all worked fine, now I have mounted it onto my helmet the focus is out. Anybody got any ideas? I havent changed any of the settings, checked if there was a manual focus on the end of the camera but it was just a lens cap.

Unscrew the cap and the lens can be turned to focus. BEWARE the tiny locking screw which has probably loosened in transit and will need to be nipped up once focus is satisfactory.

To undo/tighten the screw you'll need a 1mm flat bladed screwdriver.

Thanks guys, adjusted the focus back now. However I appear to be missing the grub screw, does the camera go out of focus quickly without it?

That's a matter specific to the individual camera body and lens, but I'd expect that with vibration that it will. Drop the TINIEST blob of superglue on the thread to arrest it if it does drift and you cant get a lock screw.
