Default Specialist Mortgage Broker/Provider

OK, I'm looking to change from my current interest only mortgage on my flat to a repayment type.

However my cicrcumstances are slightly different in that I'm an Expat (but based on a UK contract) and also rent the property out whilst I work away. It is my sole property, so I'd prefer not to pay rental/investment type ROI.

So does anyone know of any suitable brokers or providers that could offer something suitable for my situation?

Stick with your existing lender if you can. No paperwork, very few questions and less fees.

I used to be a mortgage broker when they were giving mortgages away but that scenario would have been a nightmare back then, never mind in today's market!

Interest only mortgages allow to make repayments any time you want, just stick in what you can when you can. When did you take out the existing mortgage? Chances are it is on a much better rate than you can get in todays market.

I'll send you a pm for who I use when I get back tonight Tim.

No fees to them from you, they claim it off the provider (there will be fees associated with the new mortgage though). They have some affiliation with Nationwide, but don't push their products. They are a friend of a friend and when we've used them have been spot on. Going through options, providing you with a full report from meetings and options discussed etc...
