Already got one, and the boot is too small. But I get extra goodies if I go for the cheaper A3, just a few extra toys if I go for the Passat or A4, and just the base model if I choose the A6.

I'd go for the A6.

Superb car to drive, lots of space, not as common as the "C0ck" factor A4, and even in vase trim, well specc'd.

It'll feel more special than the smaller cars and as a gentleman of obvious means, doors will open for you and people will doff their caps as you drive past.

A3 , drive lovely. Not a fan of the automatic, 'semi auto' was use able though.

Why?

Better MPG,

Better torque,

Quicker to warm up on frosty mornings,

And as for auto or manual,

I'll let you all in on a secret.

I drive fast cars for a living.

I would rather have an auto over a manual in every circumstance, especially an WV/Audi DSG 'box.
