I put save but that doesnt mean the spider would normally get past the cats alive.

Usually i'd just ignore the thing. I had a whole family of spiders living in the corner of my bathroom for months. Just let them get on with it.

definitely a saver, much easier and less messy. If you squish you still have to clear up the debris. Only thing I dont like saving are earywigs (dont know if that is their proper name) they look like tiny scorpions with big pincer things

Spiders - save, eject where appropriate.
Wasps - save, eject
Flies - depends how easy they are to eject
Mosquitos - squish
Rodents - squish

Should I vote KeithD?? (no, I'm not that KeithD)

I save unless it is something vile. Blood sucking flying things get swatted with the electric tennis bat! Spiders get left alone though because they are useful around the house. Wasps find their own way out in the end, so I just leave them to it. Being a cat owner though, the horrid things that they can bring with them get murdered, I hate fleas and frontline both the cats and the house.

Strangely, there is one type of invertebrate that I am unable to go near and just thinking about them makes me want to vomit. Slugs... The wife has to deal with them.
