Default Where to look for a GSXR-750 K6 + thoughts?

Hi there,

So I've the SV650 for over a year now and as the weather starts to (slowly) get warmer I am toying with the idea of upgrading. I think the only bike which has caught my eye and is worthy of a switch from the SV is the GSXR-750 K6 (black).

I have two questions:

Where should I be looking for one, other than Ebay and pistonheads?

Does anyone have one, and if so, any thoughts on the bike?

I'd have a look at this mate, plenty fast enough for the real world, and I'm sure you'd love it...

Have a go on a CBR600rr back to back with the gixxer. I very nearly got the latter but the CBR just swung it, there's very little between the two though.

CBR was boring in my opinion. Good bike and quick as anything, but it just never cracked a smile under my visor...

That's where mine was advertised.

I have the K7 - which is the same as the K6. Simply does everything brilliantly. Good brakes, good suspension and a boot load of power.

The old "SV650 has more low down grunt" argument is bollox - the 750 pulls hard from the bottom and then goes berserk at the top.

Only thing I've noticed is that on cold days filtering for a long time is hard work - I'm assuming this is because the oil in the steering damper is more viscous.
