Rubber Hose / What the hell is it?

Hi,

After tending to my bike and giving some much needed TLC i have noticed that the rubber hose behind the right peg has split, but haven't got a clue what the hell it is.

Would someone be able to tell me what it is and how easy is it to replace?

Brake pipe? Is there anything leaking from it?

Is it open ended? If so, then it'll be a breather pipe for the fuel tank or battery. I'd only tend to it if it were to leak onto plastic body work.

If its a pipe connected to something near the right peg, wait for one of the mechanics on here to help.

I think it could be the breather pipe or a fuel tank overspill run off pipe, it isn't attached to anything near the rear brake otherwise i'd lose rear braking wouldn't I?

I'd say it was the overspill pipe from the tank too .. depends where the split is too. If it's just split in the end by your peg then probably wont cause any problems, further up and it could spill over plastics or something.
