Default Alternative Alternators?

Hi All,

I'm waiting on a answer from a knowledgeable chap on the forum, but I'm thinking my Alternator is goosed, having searched the forum and ebay to no avail, is there a alternative I could use?

Regards

Rob.

Not found one yet - if you do, spill the beans! It wouldn't surprise me to find that there is an alternator wound on to a suitable yoke that could be fitted though, but there would need to be some wiring changes as the SV runs the ignition pickup and cabling through the same pieces.
This is a small change of course, but it does mean that a straight bolt-in swap is unlikely.

Cheers Sid,

With my technical know how, it's unlikely I'll be advising anyone It just seems that so many parts are interchangeable, I thought it may be possible, but guess it isn't that straight forward.

hi guys,
if your looking for alternators and regulators etc check electrexworld.com. i just bought a regulator for a '01 curvy from them for nigh on £100 cheaper than suzuki and it works a treat.
