Unhappy Engine/exhaust dosn't feel/sound right :/

hello guys havn't been on for a while!

anyway! the past fue days when i rev up my bike to 3-4rpm (not high) it dosn't sound right, kinda like my bike has a cold.. kinda coughs rather than the normal RAWH!! lol It sometimes stalls when im waiting at traffic lights (i go to pull away and COOOWWW.. stalls :/

anyone have any ideas? im thinking could be the spark plug maybe?? i dont reli know much about bikes... probly just a lil oves :P

i would check the plugs 1st and report back the condition i.e are they wet or have black soot like deposits on them etc.

when was the bike last serviced?
also as above pull your plugs out an check them.

Sounds really bad. I think your bikes had it. I'll take it off you for £100.

As said check your plugs.

I would change the plugs. If they are breaking down inside you won't be able to see it by looking at them. If they are really sooty it could be running rich, but then that could be caused by a clogged air filter. It all hinges on when you last changed them (the filter and the plugs). I'd change them both. and put some fuel system cleaner in the tank, shouldn't cost too much.

Today i changed BOTH spArk plugs ( they were fine but i put the new ones in anyway! And i changed the air filter and cleaned it out! It runs the same or worse?
I have no ****ing idea and im getting ****ed of!

Just happened to me last Thursday, 'twas the plugs. Replaced; sorted!

Sounds like it could be a fuelling problem to me. Has it been sat for a while not being used?

Problem solved guys! Like i sed changed the plugs and air filter!
It was the tick over running to low! It was ticking over at 1000rpm and thats what caused the stalling :/
So that solves that problem!

But yeh runs great now!! Thx guys

Good. Adjusting the idle would solve the "rough running at 3000 rpm problem" normally. But as long as you're happy, nice one.
