Smile DavieSV's SV, Gsxr forks, Rsvr shock, Black & Gold

After a bit of a strip down, my bike is nearly finished...for now!

Taken on my phone, so a bit blurry.
I'm getting really keen to finish it now, I miss riding it.

Things done so far:
GSXR 750 K7 forks.
310mm SV1000 rotors on standard SV650 wheel with custom brake disc spacers.
Custom made spindle and spacers to fit 650 wheel.
TL1000 clip ons.
Radial master cylinder.
Custom made billet top yoke.
RSVR adjustable length rear shock.
Brembo rear caliper on custom carrier.
Braced swing arm, polished and clear powder coat.
Re-sprayed Ford Panther Black.
Various bits powder coated gold.
Home made stainless steel tail tidy.
Home made exhaust hanger (under rear footpeg).
Home made exhaust link pipe.

Things to do:
Front mounted speedo drive.
Custom rear hugger.
Decals.

Hopefully get it all finished real soon.
Hope you like...

I think so
Top baffle in and a little tiny "baffle" in the bottom.

Now I've sprayed it black, I wish I had the swing arm black aswell.
The next time I strip the swing arm off, I'll get it done.

Looks Nice!
How's the RSVR shock? Was it a pain to fit?

Shock feels a great deal better than stock and when playing with the adjustments, you can really notice the difference it makes.

It wasn't a straight swap, it needed to be engineered to fit.

See here <--

But well worth it for me, as it didn't cost me anything to do
I like the adjustable shock length aswell. It gives me more things to mess up with the geometery of the bike rather than just raising or lowering the forks through the triple clamps.

A real improvement and the bracing of the swing arm takes the flex out of the swing arm, making the shock do more of the work.

Strange half faired lovers!

It was one of the attactions of the SV when I first saw it.
It reminded me a bit of the bikes I had or wanted when I was younger.
