Default Showa Fork on Pointy

Hi,

Its time to replace the forks on my K5 as they are damaged, the options there to have them rebuilt but saw a pair of Showa's for a K4 for sale.

Has anyone had any experience with them on a pointy? Or know if they will be worth the swap over/compatible/perfrom well?

Cheers,

The K3 on SV650 forks are made by Showa, are you sure these aren't just standard damper rod forks? If they are then they will be exactly the same as the original ones from your bike.

Yeah don't worry about what he said, he just like to brag about his much his bike is modded, usually because he's made it eat the back of a car so many times.

Showa make lots of forks, including for pointy SV650. Curvy model uses kayaba ones.

If they are stock forks, then they should work fine, slight internal differences between K4 and 5 but for everything 99% of people care about they're exactly compatible.
