hi forum,
i been looking at buying braided lines for a while and finally decided to buy some. but i dont know anything about them. could someone forward me a good place to buy them. i looked at HEL ones but i want a set of lines where there is a line for each side (separate line for each caliper). quite fancy some blue ones or plain. brakes need to be a bit sharper so i thought i start with a cheap solution, already got new pads ready to go in. discs to expendsive so looking at spending around 50-80 for some lines. thanks for reading |

Hi, Just fitted 2 full length hoses to my SV from HEL. They do loads of colour options etc. Got min from B&C Express - http://www.bandcexpress.co.uk/brakes...ines/road.html

Hi, Not a lot to choose really although I prefer the HEL. £30 per line seems about the right price. HEL kits come with all new stainless bolts and coper washers. Very happy with mine.

From B&C? What colour did you go for? I opted for Carbon look hose and Silver ends.

i ordered from a different website but same make. i went for transparent blue with silver ends. cost me £73 for 3 lines (two front, one rear). which is a tad cheaper.
still cheaper then buying disc's as my last MOT recommended it lol |

I used these guys in April on ebay:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Cobra-Perfo...id=p4340.l2563 Don't let the fact they are in bulgaria put you off. They are run by some Brits who used to be based in Derby (I think) and moved out to Bulgaria and carried on the business. These are basically Hel lines without the Hel logo and a bit cheaper. I got front lines for my K6 SV and was really happy with them. More than 5000 miles use with the lines and no problems at all. I got custom sizes made and communication with them was excellent. Also recently I got a rear line from these guys in NI. I've had stuff from them before and it's an excellent service and quick delivery, and again i think they are unbranded hel lines. (both lines from these guys and the ones in Bulgaria had the little yellow sleve on the hose that Hel use) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stainless-...item3cb158d693 |

The HEL lines are decent quality items and they were a pleasure to deal with (I bought them through their web shop), but I have to say that I like the Venhill lines with the separate banjos. A bit more expensive, but saves a load of faffing around when installing the lines and making sure there are no twists in them.
