Having rebuilt the bike (pointy 2004) and got it running beautifully, I still have the red light on the left of the dash remaining on and the FI warning on the LED.
Has anyone got any ideas on where to start looking for the solution to this? Is a "reset" of some kind necessary? Thanks in advance. |

Have a search for dealer mode, you need to put a jumper wire in a connector found under the seat, then it will show you a fault code on the dash.
Is it possible you missed a connector somewhere?

Thx, just solved the problem in exactly that way. Turns out the temp sensor was disconnected.
