Idle Banter For non SV and non bike related chat (and the odd bit of humour - but if any post isn't suitable it'll get deleted real quick).![]() |

well I think they are blues.
my friends dad died at the weekend and I don't feel how I thought I would feel. For reasons I won't go into on a public forum I can't help but feel it serves him right and he won't be missed yet I feel gutted for my mate and her clan. He was still her dad despite everything he got up too. Org tell me I'm not a completely evil cow for feeling like this (or confirm it ![]() |

I am still angry with an uncle that took his life 14 odd years ago. Sometimes it is hard not to feel badly towards people that have passed either due to the way they lived or the way they chose to die in my case. All you can do is be there for your friend.
Sorry for her loss, hugs x |

You have your reasons for feeling like this, so I don't think you have anything to feel sorry about.

Nothing wrong with feeling like that - some people just aren't likeable, and death doesn't change that.
You have to support your friends in these circumstances, but that's why they're your friends - you would expect (or may even have received) the same in return. |

Death affects everyone differently;
Some dont flinch at the death of a loved one, others by contrast can maun a person they've never met. You sound to be in a healthy middle ground, so what that the guy was a toilet. If you're friend is sad then offer support, if they're coping well then just be there if needed. |

Feelings can never be wrong; only how you turn them into behaviour.
As you said, be there for your friend
